Umeda Erika announced at the Osaka H!P Summer concert, that she will be graduating at C-ute’s Fall Concert tour 2009 on 10/25. She aims to become a fashion model.

The other day the announcement was made that following C-ute’s fall tour, C-ute’s Umeda Erika will graduate from C-ute as well as and the Hello! Project. Umeda already had previous interest in working as a model. Its not unexpectedly, becuase we have conversed about her time her changing jobs to be a model many times before. She decided on her own that this tour’s end was her cut off poiny to go and follow her dream and hopes that everyone will support her on this path. At any case, concerning Umeda final tour, please make this tour her youth first page’s* best tour.

Kanna Arihara Suffers From Bunion March 1, 2009

C-ute member Kanna Arihara will be absent from Hello! Project activities for a while due to medical difficulties.
Kanna has been diagnosed with hallux valgus, better known as Bunion. A bunion is a structural deformity of the bones and the joint between the foot and big toe, and may be painful. She had been suffering from bunion before and unfortunately the condition has deteriorated. Therefore she will need medical treatment, which may be surgery.
The condition caused difficulties while performing on stage and Kanna will not be able to attend the HaroTen Fanclub event scheduled this week. It is likely that she will also be absent throughout C-ute’s upcoming concert tour and from activities for their 8th single, “Bye Bye Bye!”, which will be released on 2009-04-15.
C-ute will continue performing with only 6 members.

The graduation will take place on 2009-03-31 just over two months after their winter tour. This means that all of Hello! Project’s original members as well as some of the most established members will graduate and leave Hello! Project in the hands of Morning Musume, Berryz Koubou and C-ute.
